THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: Saw Operator
Responsible for cutting raw material to size using blueprints, bill of materials, and written or verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Cut raw material to size based on blueprints and BOMS
  • Operate various saws and equipment to process raw material to size.
  • Complete routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Recommend process improvements and changes for increased efficiency.
  • Perform various tasks or projects as required by management

BACKGROUND PROFILE: Saw Operator
  • High school graduate with 1 -2 years of machining experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Proficient with various tools and basic measurement equipment.
  • Familiar with the working properties of steel, aluminum and other materials.
  • Ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Intermittent exposure to safe levels of cleaning solutions, solvents, cutting fluids and grease.
