First settled by the Yuchi Indians that called the Tennessee River a river with a song that was sometimes soft and quiet, and other times loud and boisterous as it poured over the rocks and reefs of the Shoals. Florence is a city in the county seat of Lauderdale County AL. Largest principal city of the Florence-Muscle Shoals Metropolitan Statistical Area.
THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
  • Family owned business
  • Leader of the creation of recipes, production or wort, fermentation and packaging
  • Exciting to create and brew new seasonal beers and one-off beer brands
  • Over the cleanliness, health and safety of the brewery
  • Interpret and evaluate wort and beer quality making sure the process consistency, taste is great!
  • Leader for safety and floor inspections
  • Conduct safety meetings
 
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
  • Advanced knowledge of all aspects of brewing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and supplies
  • 2 years or more of professional brewing experience in production brewery
  • Can operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
  • Suburb attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and skills working with a small team
  • Attitude to make the best, most creative beers
  • Problem solver and flexible with change
  • Can stand for long periods of time
  • Communication skills, along with organizational and interpersonal
  • Can lift heavy products up to 165 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures and conditions
  • Be open to learning duties as the companies grow and expand
  • Proficient with Microsoft office products and ability to learn brewing production software.
