THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: Human Resources Generalist
  • Employee Relations; actively manage employee complaints, resolve performance issues proactively, minimize any risk
  • Process weekly payroll; prepare & submit accurate & complete payroll reports on a timely basis. Maintain accurate payroll statistics.
  • Plan & manage staffing & recruiting
  • New employee- on-boarding, new hire orientation, personnel file development & training scheduling
  • Manage training & development
  • Assist with implementing & administering human resources policies & procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements & government reporting regulations affecting HR functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
BACKGROUND PROFILE:  Human Resources Generalist
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • PHR certification preferred
  • 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Background in Automotive industry; should be familiar with audits, forms, & charts
  • Strong experience with ADP payroll process & HRIS
  • Experienced in FMLA is required
  • Skilled in all areas of HR; talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations & benefits
  • Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Be able to work with limited supervision
  • Strong leadership ability; must be able to make difficult decisions when necessary
  • Organizing & planning skills, problem analysis & problem-solving skills, judgment sills communication skills & coaching skills
  • Strong MS Office skills including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
