THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: Field Service Technician- Industrial Electricians
  • Will be responsible for the Installation, setup and troubleshooting Industrial Motor Controls including AC / DC adjustable speed drives, Electronic Soft Starter, Reduced Voltage starters, three and single-phase controllers. Experience with Servo Motor controls would be good but, not required
  • Be able to install Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) equipment, programming, troubleshooting, and repair on various control systems, including but not limited to GE/Allen Bradley. Familiarity of PLC 5, SLC 500, Ladder Logic, Control Logix and Panel Views programming
  • The Technician will be responsible for  the Inspection, install and start-up of new process control systems and other electrical equipment
  • Proficient hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, repairs on equipment to insure quality operations and optimize equipment productivity
  • Will be responsible for collaborating with Engineering, Production and Project Management to solve technical problems or project issues
  • Prepare concise, accurate, professional and timely Service Work Reports, Expense Reports and other support documentation for customer visits and service activities
  • In a timely manner supply management with timely verbal and/or written communications regarding job activities
  • Field Technician will be responsible for meeting all safety policies, and implementing safety practices on a daily basis
  • Some travel to customer locations and in shop per job requirements will be expected
BACKGROUND PROFILE: Field Service Technician- Industrial Electricians
  • High School diploma or Equivalent. An Associates Degree in an electrical/mechanical related field is preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience in electrical/mechanical repair of servicing or completing of an accredited EASA or military training program
  • Valid driving license
  • The position will require testing and the measuring of data collection; diagnostics trouble shooting, and repair while within guidelines of safety protocol
