  • Lead Dispatcher will execute and verify the daily routes/operations, as scheduled by management or themselves the previous day
  • Pro-Active role in optimizing operations, driver communications/tension and safety in any aspect of the Company
  • Manage the daily communication functions for all assigned accounts
  • Supervises all safety matters to include DOT and FMCSA
  • Execute and verify the daily route schedules as prepared by management
  • Driver communications to include trouble shooting and coaching
  • Conflict resolution between drivers, dispatch, receivers and customers
  • Responsible for follow up with drivers after accidents
  • Build a robust training and orientation program
  • Maintaining the driver Milk Haulers licensing, and trailer permitting
  • Be the lead on key strategic teams to include but not limited to Safety, Recruiting and Training
  • Email daily KPI reports to management
  • Work closely with staff in operations
  • Assist the Company in recruiting drivers
  • Monitors milk inventories and loading at the Farms to avoid milk dumps
  • Monitors the milk temperatures in the trailer
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • 2-5 years Transportation experience (Materials planning/Dispatch/Customer Service)
  • Must be able to work and perform well in a high stress environment
  • Must be pro-active and a problem solver
  • Experience with Omni-track/Qualcomm or Bolt software a plus
